Starting October 27, Uzbekistan Airways will offer direct flights from Tashkent to Goa.
The airline will operate flights twice a week using an Airbus A320.
The flights will connect Tashkent to Goa’s Manohar International Airport (Mopa) in North Goa.
The direct flight route is expected to enhance tourism and cultural exchanges between Uzbekistan and Goa.
The initiative is supported by the governments of Uzbekistan and Goa, along with the Indian Embassy in Tashkent and the Uzbekistan Embassy.
The Goa Department of Tourism is actively involved in promoting this new connection to expand tourism.
This route is part of Goa’s broader strategy to promote the state as a year-round travel destination for international visitors.
Goa is famous for its beaches, including Baga, Agonda, Palolem, Anjuna, and Calangute, attracting tourists from all over the world.
