Alstom, a global frontrunner in smart, sustainable mobility solutions, is delighted to announce Frédéric Wiscart’s appointment as the new President for the France Region and a member of Alstom’s Leadership Team, effective November 4, 2024.
Frédéric Wiscart joins Alstom from Arabelle Solutions, an EDF Group company, where he served as CEO. He brings a wealth of leadership experience from his previous roles at GE Power and the former Alstom Power. With a solid record of driving success in both organizational leadership and project-driven businesses, Mr. Wiscart’s operational expertise and strategic outlook will enhance Alstom’s capabilities to serve its key clients across France, fostering growth and collaboration.

After a distinguished career with Alstom, Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud will pursue other professional opportunities outside Alstom. Poupart-Lafarge continues: “I can only express my warm thanks to Jean-Baptiste on behalf of the leadership team and all the teams at Alstom. His contribution to Alstom’s development has been decisive, particularly as head of the France region, where he played a key role in the advent of the new generation of TGV-M high-speed trains, which will shape the mobility landscape for decades to come. Thanks to his teams, who delivered numerous line extensions, and contributed most recently to the performance and quality of the public transport offer during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
