Air India has partnered with Delhi International Airport and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to offer luggage drop and international flight check-in services at Shivaji Stadium and New Delhi. The service allows foreign passengers to check in their luggage before departure, reducing stress and making travel more affordable. The service is available daily from 0700 to 2100 hours.

In order to improve the travel experience for foreign travelers, Air India has teamed with Delhi International Airport (DIAL) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to provide luggage drop and international flight check-in services. The airline now provides a practical luggage drop and check-in service at Shivaji Stadium and New Delhi, two important metro stations in Delhi.

Through this effort, foreign passengers may check in their luggage at certain metro stations, extending the already-existing service for domestic travelers. With the help of this service, out-of-town visitors will be able to see the city without having to worry about carrying their bags. Once checking in, the luggage is safely transported to the aircraft by use of sophisticated automated systems that DMRC and DIAL have installed.

The new building is open every day from 0700 to 2100 hours. Travelers may check their bags in between 12 and 2 hours before departure for domestic flights. The check-in window for international flights is from four to two hours before departure.

Chief Customer Experience Officer of Air India Rajesh Dogra said, “Our partnership with DMRC and DIAL demonstrates our dedication to providing a seamless and enhanced travel experience for our passengers.” This program makes traveling from far-off places more affordable and less stressful for everyone by easing traffic at the airport, which benefits all of our patrons. Along with other technical improvements like DigiYatra and self-baggage drop devices at airport terminals, this service considerably increases our clients’ convenience and happiness.”

The Delhi Metro operates on a 10-minute schedule and guarantees a convenient and quick ride; it takes 19 minutes to get to Delhi Airport Terminal 3’s departure level.
