According to the official Press Release, Air India intends to have improved 90% of its flights to London Heathrow by September. The airline started operating modified Boeing 777-300ERs on its Mumbai–London Heathrow route earlier in April 2024. These aircraft have improved cabin furnishings and the London Heathrow–Mumbai segment will once again provide First class. With this change, only Air India will provide first-class service between these locations and between the UK and India.

With the A350-900, Air India will be offering a Premium Economy class for the first time on the Delhi-London Heathrow route. This class will have 24 roomy seats arranged in an elegant cabin.

This year, Ferragamo and TUMI specifically created updated amenity packages for Business and Premium Economy travelers, as well as new chinaware, tableware, glassware, bedding, and other soft goods, will be launched for passengers on Air India’s A350 flights.

“The deployment of our flagship A350s and the B777s with upgraded cabin interiors to London Heathrow marks a significant milestone for Air India,” said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Air India.
