Air India is expanding its European reach by launching nonstop flights between Delhi to Zurich, Switzerland, and increasing its daily flights to Phuket, Thailand. The airline will operate flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Boeing 787 Dreamliners, expanding its European reach to seven locations. The expansions aim to improve passenger connections and provide more flexibility and convenience for travelers.
The Airline is going to make its debut in Switzerland on June 16, 2024, when it will begin nonstop flights between Delhi and Zurich. The airline will operate flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Boeing 787 Dreamliners. With this move, Air India’s European reach is increased to seven locations. Passengers may now fly directly between Delhi and Zurich, with easy connections available to destinations in the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
In response to the increasing demand for seamless travel experiences, Air India is expanding its reach by adding new routes to Zurich, Switzerland, and increasing the number of flights to Phuket, Thailand.

The airline will begin offering a second daily flight (except Wednesdays) on its Delhi-Phuket route from June 1, 2024, in response to strong demand. With this improvement, travelers will have even more flexibility and convenience in addition to the daily flights that now operate between Phuket and Delhi. With this expansion, Air India’s daily flights to Phuket will almost triple, improving its connection from Delhi and Mumbai to Thailand.
Chief Executive Officer of Air India Campbell Wilson emphasized the expansions’ strategic importance, saying that they are consistent with the airline’s mission to provide outstanding travel experiences and improve passenger connections.
Travelers traveling for business or pleasure may use the Zurich route, which will improve relations between India and Switzerland. In a similar vein, the extra flights to Phuket are intended to make travel from Europe easier for visitors by giving them additional choices and convenience,
