Akasa Air Launches Daily Flights to Jeddah

Akasa Air, an Indian airline, plans to increase its direct flights from Jeddah to Mumbai by 12 per week starting July 21, 2024. This move aligns with the growing demand for travel between Saudi Arabia and India, particularly in 2023. The airline will also operate daily nonstop flights between Ahmedabad and Jeddah. The strategic alignment aims to promote commerce, tourism, and cross-cultural interactions between the two countries.

On July 21, 2024, Akasa Air will raise the number of direct flights from Jeddah to Mumbai by 12 per week. The airline will begin operating daily nonstop flights. The introduction of direct flights between Jeddah and major Indian cities corresponds with the increase in demand for travel between Saudi Arabia and India, especially in 2023, demonstrating the two countries’ expanding connections and prospects.

With Jeddah as its second overseas destination, Akasa Air, the quickly expanding airline based in India, plans to expand its worldwide reach. Akasa Air is set to commence daily non-stop flights between Jeddah and Mumbai on July 15, 2024. The service would be subsequently increased to twelve direct flights per week starting on July 21, 2024. In addition, starting on July 20, 2024, the airline would operate direct flights every two weeks between Ahmedabad and Jeddah.
