The Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) has launched online helicopter services for the Amarnath Yatra, a 52-day pilgrimage from June 29 to August 19, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Purnima festivals. The service is available for both Baltal and Pahalgam routes, with one-way and round-trip fees. Advance registration for pilgrims opened on April 15. The SASB is dedicated to ensuring a safe and organized yatra.
According to the most recent information, reservations for helicopter services for the Amarnath Yatra this year may now be made online. For the 52-day pilgrimage that begins on June 29, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) has established this service for both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes in order to expedite this procedure.
The annual Amarnath pilgrimage is scheduled to begin on June 29 and end on August 19, coinciding with the festivals of Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Purnima, according to a statement released by SASB. The Neelgrath-Panjtarni-Neelgrath sector will host helicopter services for the north Kashmir Baltal route, while the Pahalgam-Panjtarni-Pahalgam sector will host flights for the Pahalgam route.
The official website is JKSASB.nic. is where customers may make online reservations for helicopter services, according to officials. They made it clear that there would be no offline ticket sales or priority reservations. As a result, reservations will be given to devotees directly and on a first-come, first-served basis. From Pahalgam to Panjtarni, the one-way fee is INR 4,900, while the round-trip rate is INR 9,800. The one-way fee for the Neelgrath to Panjtarni route is INR 3,250, and the round-trip rate is INR 6,500.
It takes a while to go to and from the holy cave from the Panjtarni helipad. As a result, pilgrims who have open slots will enjoy a minimum of five to six-hour breaks between travels. Throughout the trek, pilgrims must have a valid health certificate and an original picture ID card. Additionally, they have to go to their designated helipads at least half an hour ahead of schedule.

Charter reservations are accepted only for travel between Neelgrath and Srinagar. Priority seating is available on the connecting route between Neelgrath and Panjtarni. This will guarantee pilgrims who choose to use charter services a simplified and effective experience.
Everything is going well with the pilgrimage preparations. This year, 125 langars (community kitchens) have been granted permission to operate up to the holy cave in order to provide food and beverages to pilgrims. Advance registration for pilgrims opened on April 15.
During his visit to Katra on May 16, Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged followers to serve as messengers and spread the word about Lord Shiva. There will likely be a sizable number of pilgrims making the journey this year, and the SASB is dedicated to making sure that everyone who takes part has a safe and well-organized yatra.
