Avelo Airlines is set to launch a new route linking Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut, with Punta Cana International Airport in the Dominican Republic, beginning Friday, February 21.
The airline will offer this service twice a week, operating on Mondays and Fridays. This addition enhances Avelo’s presence in the Caribbean, where it already connects travelers to Cancun, Mexico, and Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Avelo Airlines is expanding its network with six new routes, including the highly anticipated Hartford-to-Punta Cana service and four additional routes from New Haven. These expansions, set to launch in February, reinforce Avelo’s growing presence as a regional carrier in the United States. By strengthening its operations in Connecticut, the airline continues to provide travelers with more affordable and convenient flight options.
With these new additions, Avelo will operate a total of 39 flights from Connecticut, further solidifying its commitment to the state’s aviation market. The airline will offer 31 flights departing from New Haven and eight from Hartford, catering to both leisure and business travelers. This growth reflects Avelo’s strategy of focusing on underserved routes while maintaining competitive pricing for budget-conscious passengers.
Customers can book their flights directly through Avelo’s website, taking advantage of promotional fares starting at just $39 each way. The airline’s low-cost model, combined with its expanding network, enhances accessibility for travelers seeking both domestic and international destinations. As Avelo continues to broaden its reach, these new routes mark another step in its mission to provide seamless and affordable air travel options.
