Bhutan is hosting a special India Road Show in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad to celebrate 50 years of tourism and summer travel. The event will feature 20 Bhutanese exhibitors, promotions, packages, and special deals from hotels, airlines, and tour operators. The event aims to help professionals network, collaborate, and grow their businesses in the Indian market.

Bhutan is organizing a special India Road Show, June 17–21, 2024, celebrating 50 years of tourism and emphasizing summer travel. India continues to be one of Bhutan’s most significant markets even after the country opened to tourists in 1974. This road exhibit will stop in four key Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, as the country’s busiest holiday season draws near. Professionals in the travel sector will have a forum to network, look into business prospects, and arrange one-of-a-kind travel experiences at the event.

Travel to Bhutan has become more popular among Indians, especially in the summer. 19,212 Indian visitors arrived here in May 2024 alone, a 100% increase over April. Bhutan’s breathtaking natural beauty, spiritual offerings, and rich tradition enthrall Indian visitors.

The four-city India Roadshow is intended to help experts in the field network, collaborate, and grow their businesses. The roadshows will offer up new opportunities for collaboration and expansion by focusing on customers from the corporate, luxury, leisure, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) categories.

The roadshow will include around 20 Bhutanese exhibitors presenting promotions, packages, and special deals from hotels, airlines, and tour operators. Every event will include thrilling fortunate drawings, traditional Bhutanese cultural aspects, and prizes like return tickets to Bhutan.

Tourism Chief Marketing Officer Carissa Nimah said, “Bhutan is excited to use this road show to introduce our friends in India to the beauty of Bhutan.” It provides a unique fusion of culture, environment, and spirituality unlike any place else on the planet. We cordially encourage all professionals in the travel sector to attend this esteemed occasion and network with leading industry purchasers. We are excited to introduce Indian tourists to our stunning nation and extend an invitation for them to experience the enchantment of Bhutan.
