Char Dham Yatra traffic advisory has been issued by Uttarkashi Police, due to the surge of visitors. The advisory outlines seven crucial rules for pilgrims, including the following routes: train from Rishikesh to Gangotri Dham, from Rishikesh to Yamunotri, and from Yamunotri to Gangotri. Cargo trucks are not allowed in metropolitan areas from 9 AM to 9 PM.
The Char Dham Yatra traffic advice has been issued by the Uttarkashi Police due to the present surge of people visiting the Char Dham shrines in Uttarakhand. Commencing on May 10, the day of Akshay Tritiya, the yatra was auspicious. Thousands of worshippers crowded the streets leading to the temples, intent on visiting the Kedarnath shrine.
All of the particular traffic regulations must be known to those organizing the yatra.
The routes that are designated are as follows:
1) The following is the path that devotees using the train from Rishikesh to Gangotri Dham: Narendranagar, Chamba, Dharasu Band, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Bhatwadi, Harsil, Gangotri.
2) Those traveling from Rishikesh to Yamunotri as part of the Chardham Yatra must go via Narendranagar, Chamba, Dharasu Band, Jankichatti, past Brahmakhal and Radi Top, and finally to Dobata.
3) Dehradun, Damta, Naugaon, Barkot, Dobata, and Jankichatti are the places pilgrims from Dehradun must pass through on their way to Yamunotri Dham.

4) Jankichatti, Dobata, Radi Top, Brahmakhal, Dharasu Band, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Bhatwadi, Harsil, and Gangotri would be the pilgrims’ path from Yamunotri Dham to Gangotri.
5) The following roads must be used by cars traveling from Gangotri to Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham: Harshil, Bhatwadi, Gangori, Tekhala, Mando, Manpur, Chowringhee, Lambgaon, and Srinagar.
6) The Harshil, Bhatwadi, Gangotri, and Tekhala bridges should be avoided by cars traveling from Gangotri to Rishikesh. Mando, Joshiada, Manera, Badethi, Matali, and Dharasu are the roads they have to traverse.
7) From 9 AM to 9 PM, big cargo trucks will not be allowed in metropolitan areas.
