The travel sector in India is expected to expand, with a focus on data-driven strategies, measured risks, and innovation. Infrastructure and tourist attractions are being invested in by Dubai’s tourism sector, with an emphasis on sustainability. Although there are difficulties associated with tourism during off-peak season, there may also be opportunities for encounters with the local way of life and culture.

From January to March 2024, Dubai had an 11% growth in foreign tourists worldwide. Its hotels had an average occupancy rate of 83%, which is among the highest in the world. Dubai Tourism is doing all it can to expand the profitable Indian market, particularly in proximity markets.

India is the primary sourcing market.
“India has always been and will be our top market. In the first quarter of 2022 alone, we had 687,000 Indian visitors—a 12% rise over the same period the previous year. Building on this momentum is our aim,”

In order to remain ahead of the game, he emphasized the need to take a data-driven strategy and try out novel ideas.

Additionally, Dubai is increasing its use of influencer marketing. Habib said, “We are concentrating on more smart influencer relationships in addition to content agreements. We’ll be announcing some additional projects in this field shortly.” He went into more detail about popular engagements in India, emphasizing prospective clientele like singles and couples.

“A massive project set to open next year will be a huge boost,” in response to a question regarding additional attractions. However, I can’t yet provide specifics. The offerings are sure to amaze visitors.”
