IndiGo, one of India’s leading airlines, has launched a brand-new daily direct flight connecting Chennai and Penang. This marks Penang as IndiGo’s 37th international destination and its third in Malaysia, following Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi. The new route addresses the increasing travel demand between Chennai and Penang, providing both business and leisure travelers with a seamless, budget-friendly travel option while fostering cultural exchange and stimulating economic growth.
By offering direct flights between Chennai and Penang, IndiGo significantly reduces travel time, making the journey faster and more convenient. Chennai also serves as a strategic hub, enabling travelers from cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai to easily connect to Penang.
