Beginning on August 1, 2024, Malaysia Airlines plans to raise the number of weekly flights on the Amritsar-Kuala Lumpur route from four to seven, in response to the increasing demand for travel and the good load factors.
The airline’s prior schedule quadrupled from two to four weekly flights in January 2024, thus this extension is a major increase, demonstrating confidence in this quickly expanding market.

It was started in November 2023. As of April 3, 2024, there will be four weekly flights on the Trivandrum route as well.
