Thailand Welcomes 8,000+ Indian Travelers Toward 2 Million Goal

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) successfully attracted over 8,000 Indian tourists to its target of 2 million by 2024. Brilvoice International, a renowned Indian travel management company, organized an incentive-based training program in Bangkok. With 564,024 Indian tourists arriving since 2024, India has solidified itself as a top 5 foreign tourist destination.

By welcoming a group of more than 8,000 incentive travelers from India, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) took a big step in reaching their target of bringing in 2 million Indian visitors by 2024.

Brilvoice International arranged for a large group of Indian visitors, whom TAT cordially greeted on April 18, 2024. The delegation was recognized at the Challenger Building, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Muang Thong Thani. It was led by Miss Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the Governor of TAT, and included Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, the Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific), Phuriphan Bunnag, the Senior Vice President of The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), and Police Major General Phongsayam Meekhanthong, the Deputy Commissioner of The Tourist Police Bureau.

The Governor of TAT, Kiatphaibool, states that to reach the 2 million tourist goal by 2024, TAT aggressively encourages and supports Indian incentive visitors as an important demographic. To attract an important number of Indian tourists, Brilvoice, a renowned Indian travel management company, arranged an incentive-based training program in Bangkok from April 18–23, 2024. More than 8,000 Indian visitors visited the event; some of them intended to visit famous attractions in Thailand.

Over 231,120 of the 817,914 foreign MICE travelers that Thailand hosted in 2023 were from India, accounting for approximately 28% of the country’s entire market share. With 564,024 Indian tourists arriving in Thailand since the year 2024, India has solidified itself as one of the country’s top 5 foreign tourist destinations and has made a substantial financial contribution to the country’s tourism industry.
