According to the statement, this is also one of the largest passenger counts in Thiruvananthapuram Airport’s history. 2.42 million of the 4.4 million passengers came from inside the country, while 1.98 million traveled from outside. Bengaluru is ranked first among domestic travel destinations, while Sharjah is ranked first among foreign travel. With 29,778 ATMs handled in FY 2023–24, there were 23% more ATMs than there were in FY 2021–2024 (24,213).
For the fiscal year 2023–2024, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport had a record rise in both passenger volume and Air Traffic Movements (ATM). According to a statement released on Tuesday, the airport handled 4.4 million passengers between April 2023 and March 2024, up from 3.46 million in 2022–2023—a 27 percent increase in traffic.
According to the statement, this is also one of the largest passenger counts in Thiruvananthapuram Airport’s history.
