Air India Express will soon launch service to Agartala, making it the airline’s 46th destination.
The daily direct flights between Agartala and major cities Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati will begin on September 1, 2024.
Reservations are now open through the airline's mobile app, website, and other popular booking channels.
Agartala joins other northeastern destinations served by Air India Express, such as Guwahati, Bagdogra, and Imphal.
Aloke Singh, Managing Director, emphasized the airline’s commitment to connecting tier 2 and tier 3 cities and fostering commerce, tourism, and economic development.
Air India Express will operate 14 weekly flights from Agartala to eight one-stop locations and two direct destinations.
Direct destinations from Agartala include Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, and Chennai.
Air India Express operates 124 weekly flights from Kolkata to 12 direct locations and 22 one-stop locations, including international destinations like Singapore, Bahrain, Dammam, and Sharjah.
The new route aligns with the airline’s goal of enhancing connectivity and providing an unmatched guest experience characterized by Indian hospitality.
