Air India Upgrades Delhi-London Route with A350s

Starting September 1, 2024, Air India will introduce twice-daily flights between Delhi and London Heathrow

14 out of 17 weekly flights will feature the Airbus A350-900, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, adding 336 seats weekly to the route

Since April 2024, Air India has been operating modified Boeing 777-300ERs on the Mumbai-London Heathrow route, reintroducing First Class service.

Air India will be the only airline offering First Class service between the UK and India on the Mumbai-London route

Exclusive First Class

The A350-900 will introduce a Premium Economy class on the Delhi-London route, featuring 24 spacious seats in an elegant cabin.

Premium Economy

New amenity packages for Business and Premium Economy travelers, created by Ferragamo and TUMI, along with upgraded chinaware, tableware, glassware, bedding, and other soft goods, will be available on A350 flights

Campbell Wilson, CEO of Air India, highlighted the deployment of A350s and upgraded B777s to London Heathrow as a significant milestone for the airline
