Delhi Airport, managed by DIAL, is the first in India to implement the Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveller Programme
The program was launched by Amit Shah, the Minister of Home Affairs, at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport.
The FTI-TTP is available to Indian passport holders and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders.
The program allows eligible travelers to use e-gates for faster immigration clearance instead of traditional lines.
Applicants must register online, submit biometrics, and provide other required data, with the process taking up to one month.
Membership is subject to verification and the validity of the passport, which must be valid for at least six months.
Terminal 3 has eight e-gates, four for arrivals and four for departures, enhancing efficiency.
The e-gates aim to significantly reduce congestion at the airport by offering pre-verified passengers fast clearance.
The FTI-TTP is comparable to the US Global Entry Program, offering expedited immigration and security clearance for low-risk, pre-approved travelers.
To sign up, travelers must apply online, undergo verification by the Bureau of Immigration, and complete biometric enrollment at the FRRO or a special counter at Delhi Airport.
